Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Voyez ("we", "us", "our") is a personal travel planning application available on Android via Google Play. You can reach us at contact@voyez.xyz.

2. What Data We Collect

Account information

• Email address and name (when you register with email/password or Google Sign-In)
• A hashed password — we never store your password in plain text

Trip and planning data

• Trips you create: destination, dates, notes
• Events you add to trips: flights, hotels, activities, restaurants
• Expenses: amounts, currencies, categories, descriptions
• Packing list items

App preferences

• Preferred currency, theme, and notification settings stored on your account

Subscription information

• Whether you have an active Voyez Pro subscription. Payment details are handled entirely by Google Play — we never see your card number or billing address.

AI usage

• When you request AI activity suggestions, your trip destination and dates are sent to our AI service. This data is processed to generate suggestions and is not stored beyond the request.
• When you use the Booking Import feature (Pro), the text you paste or the content extracted from an uploaded PDF is sent to our AI service to identify travel events. This content is processed for that request only and is not stored.

Technical data

• Basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and debugging. These are not linked to your account for analytics purposes and are deleted periodically.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate the app and sync your trips across sessions
• To authenticate you securely using access and refresh tokens
• To generate AI-powered activity suggestions for your trips
• To manage your Voyez Pro subscription status
• To respond to support requests when you contact us

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

Voyez integrates with the following services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Google Sign-In — optional login via your Google account. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status and entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play — handles all payments for Voyez Pro. Governed by Google's terms.
• OpenAI — powers AI activity suggestions. Trip destination and dates are sent to OpenAI's API; usage is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We have API usage policies enabled that limit data retention by OpenAI.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on a secure server in the EU (OVH infrastructure). We use HTTPS for all data in transit, bcrypt for password hashing, and short-lived JWT tokens with rotation for session management.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us at contact@voyez.xyz and we will respond promptly.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (see below), all your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and export — contact us to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — you can update your name and email from within the app settings.
• Deletion — you can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete account. This removes all your trips, expenses, packing lists, and personal data.
• Subscription cancellation — manage your Voyez Pro subscription at any time through Google Play.

8. Children's Privacy

Voyez is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
